Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. NO contact with hot surfaces. NO contact with oxidants. Dry powder, carbon dioxide, alcohol-resistant foam. NO water. EXPLOSION Above 51°C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed. Above 51°C use a closed system, ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment. In case of fire: cool drums, etc., by spraying with water but avoid contact of the substance with water. EXPOSURE AVOID ALL CONTACT! IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR!  •INHALATION Cough. Sore throat. Burning sensation. Laboured breathing. Shortness of breath. Symptoms may be delayed (see Notes). Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Artificial respiration may be needed. Refer for medical attention.  •SKIN Redness. Blisters. Pain. Skin burns. Protective clothing. Protective gloves. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.  •EYES Watering of the eyes. Redness. Pain. Severe deep burns. Safety goggles, face shield. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.  •INGESTION Burning sensation. Abdominal pain. Shock or collapse. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention. SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. Ventilation. Remove all ignition sources.
