FIRE	Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.	NO open flames.	Water in large amounts.

•INHALATION		Local exhaust.	Fresh air, rest.
•SKIN	Redness.	Protective gloves.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
•EYES		Safety spectacles.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION	Abdominal pain. Drowsiness. Nausea.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink.

PACKAGING & LABELLING

Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place.

Dry. Well closed. Keep in a well-ventilated room.

The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic fumes including sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and sodium oxide. The substance is a weak base.

The substance can be absorbed into the body by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a nuisance-causing concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly when dispersed.

The substance irritates the skin.
