•SKIN		Protective gloves.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
•EYES	Redness. Pain.	Safety spectacles.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rest. Refer for medical attention.

Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. (Extra personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles.)

BLUE TO GREEN POWDER OR BLACK PARTICLES.

The substance decomposes on heating to chromic oxide.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS:
TLV: as Cr 0.5 mg/mł, as TWA; A4; (ACGIH 2003).

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a nuisance-causing concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly especially if powdered.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
May cause mechanical irritation tothe eyes.
