Gypsum is the natural form of the product and may contain crystalline silica. CAS 10101-41-4 refers to Calcium sulfate precipitate, and CAS 7778-18-9 refers to Calcium sulfate anhydrous.
The apparent melting point caused by loss of crystal water is given.
Melting point for the anhydrous form is 1450°C.
