FIRE	Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.	NO open flames, NO sparks, and NO smoking. NO contact with acid(s),oxidants.	Water in large amounts, water spray, foam, dry powder.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE		AVOID ALL CONTACT!	IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR!
•INHALATION	Cough. Burning sensation. Laboured breathing. Shortness of breath. Sore throat.	Closed system and ventilation.	Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
•SKIN	Redness. Pain. Skin burns. Blisters.	Protective gloves. Protective clothing.	First rinse with plenty of water, then remove contaminated clothes and rinse again. Refer for medical attention.
•EYES	Redness. Pain. Blurred vision. Severe deep burns.	Face shield, or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION	Abdominal pain. Burning sensation. Shock or collapse.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Do NOT induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

Remove all ignition sources. Cover the spilled material with dry earth or sand. Sweep spilled substance into containers. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Chemical protection suit including self-contained breathing apparatus.

Separated from acids, oxidants . Keep in a well-ventilated room. Dry.

WHITE TO YELLOW HYGROSCOPIC CRYSTALS , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

The substance decomposes on burning, on contact with acids , water , producing toxic and corrosive gases , which increases fire hazard. The solution in water is a strong base, it reacts violently with acid and is corrosive. Reacts violently with oxidants .

The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly when dispersed.

The substance is corrosive to the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. Corrosive on ingestion.
