PHYSICAL DANGERS: CHEMICAL DANGERS: Shock-sensitive compounds are formed with phosphinic acid, ethanol and acetylene. The substance is a strong oxidant and reacts violently with combustible and reducing materials. The substance decomposes under influence of light . OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS: TLV (as Hg): 0.025 mg/m3 (skin) A4 (ACGIH 1999).
