EXPLOSION

In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE


 •INHALATION Cough.
Ventilation.
Fresh air, rest.
 •SKIN Redness.
Protective gloves.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
 •EYES Redness.
Safety spectacles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. Do NOT wash away into sewer. (Extra personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles).
Fireproof. Separated from food and feedstuffs.
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

The substance is generally used only as a solution, usually in mineral spirits or oils. The physical and toxicological properties will depend on the solvent used. Solvents used in commercial formulations may cause acute effects on the lungs and central nervous system. Cuprinol, Wittox-C are trade names. Molecular mass will vary depending on the form of the naphthenic acid.
