NAME of MATERIAL INDEX |
||
This list of Material Names, Identification Numbers, and associated Guide Numbers differ slightly from the format in the "Blue Bordered Pages" of the 2004 Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG2004) in that there are no highlighted entries to identify materials that are Poisonous/Toxic by Inhalation (TIH) or Dangerous Water-Reactive Materials. In the ERG2004, highlighted entries refer the user to the "Green Bordered Pages" for additional guidance. On this web page, highlighted entries are being replaced by the following two images: If this image appears in association with the name of material, click on it to view/print the Table of Initial Isolation and Protective Action Distances for that material. If this image appears in association with the name of material, click on it to view/print the Table of Initial Isolation and Protective Action Distances and the Table of Water-Reactive Materials Which Produce Toxic Gases. |

(For a quick search, click on the first letter of the name of the material you are shipping. If the name begins with a prefix (e.g., n-, sec-, tert-, N-, etc.) go to the first letter after the prefix (e.g., tert-Butyl peroxyacetate would be listed under 'B'). If the name begins with a number (e.g., 2, 2'-Azodi-(2-methylbutyronitrile)) go to the first letter after the number.)
